Bidding is INTERNET ONLY:
Bidding is INTERNET ONLY. Lots will begin to close in order and will close EVERY 20 SECONDS until the auction is completed. This auction will feature extended bidding, meaning that if a bid is placed in the final 2 minutes, the bidding will be extended an additional 2 minutes to ensure that all bidders have time to place their bids. This will continue until there is no bid for a 2-minute period.
Do not wait till the last minute, your internet speed may determine if the bid is accepted.

Payment and Pickup:
If you are sales tax exempt, sales tax will be removed from TERMS:
Local Checkout/payment pick up: On August 18, 2026, from 2:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. All Items will be checked out/paid for at Lewis Auction Center 4691 Old Elizabethtown Road Hodgenville Kentucky 42748. Local Firearm purchases will be picked up Sportsman Rod
and Gun, 3175 S. Dixie Highway at Sportsman Rod and Gun Elizabethtown KY, with your paid receipt and a $25.00 transfer fee (paid to the gun shop directly) will be charged per firearm (serial number) purchased. Keep this in mind when bidding. All FFL rules will be followed NO REFUNDS do not bid if you are not eligible to buy a firearm. For Ammunition, and other non-FFL items. You will receive your item when paying (Must be 21 years old to pick up ammunition).
Shipments:
All Firearm, including black powder shipments, will be handled by Sportsman Rod and Gun 270-737-4867 at the expense of the buyer to an FFL dealer in your area a Transfer fee $25.00/packing fee $25.00 for a total of $50.00 (paid to the gun shop directly by the buyer) will be charged plus the actual postal/freight charges this is per serial number shipped. Have your FFL to email a copy of their license to onlinesales@lewisauction.com and FFl@sportsmans-ky.com we will retain a copy for our records as well as Sportsman's Rod and Gun.
No Items other than Firearms will be shipped.
Keep in mind per Federal Law FFL firearms must ship alone and cannot be shipped with ammo, and other accessories that did not come in the Firearm box at time of original purchase other than optics thar are mounted.
Additional Terms:
Credit Cards will be charged for any items not picked up and paid for by 6 P.M. August 18th, 2026.
NOTE: Gold shipments will only be shipped after the certified payment is received. Example: Wire Transfer (immediate after the wire is confirmed), Cashier's Check sent by mail (immediate after receipt), Personal check will be accepted by mail (with a 10 day hold on shipments after bank deposit.) Credit cards will be charged. A 10% deposit balance will be due by one of the means listed above. Thanks for your understanding but this is for the protection of our consignors and to deter scammers.
15% buyer's Premium will be added to all bids for Cash or good Check and local pickup. For Credit card transactions a checkout will be provided through Hibid or square plus a 3% surcharge will apply to all credit card/Debit Card transactions.
